So following the instructions given on the URL https://support.office.com/en-us/article/downlo.. combined with the correct account services link https://account.microsoft.com/services provided in my previous reply - that doesn't provide you the ability to download '2016 from your previous purchase? You would likely need to uninstall your subscription version prior to installing '2016 and deactivate the license on the old machine.
Also, just to make sure there's no misunderstanding, you are referring to Office 2016 'perpetual license' on the old machine - correct?
As stated previously, don't have a test system configured with a perpetual license install of Office 2016 at the moment that allows me to test this directly hence the questions.
